Teller/Banking Associate
Teller/Banking Associates are the first point of contact for customers. They are responsible for processing customer deposits, withdrawals, loan transactions, and various other banking transactions. They maintain and balance a cash drawer daily. These frontline individuals must conduct themselves professionally and courteously to maintain The Neffs National Bank image. A high school diploma is required, and customer service or banking experience is preferred.
IT/Data Processing Specialist I
An IT/Data Processing Specialist I performs data entry, researches data entry corrections, performs account maintenance, posts ATM and ACH batches, performs exception item pull for NSF and non-post items, and imports and exports cash letters. Strong computer skills are required for assisting with help desk-related functions. A high school diploma is required. An associates degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related field, along with banking experience is preferred.
IT/Data Processing Specialist II
An IT/Data Processing Specialist II performs the same functions as an IT/Data Processing Specialist I, but also assists in employee training, works with related vendors/third parties, assists the IT Consultant as needed, and helps maintain system parameters. An IT/Data Processing Specialist II generally backs up the IT/Data Processing Supervisor/Asst Manager and the IT/Data Processing Manager. The same education requirements apply to both Specialist I and Specialist II, however 3+ years of experience is also required.
IT/Data Processing Supervisor/Asst Manager
The IT/Data Processing Supervisor/Asst. Manager backs up and supports the IT/Data Processing Manager. This individual manages and directs the work of the IT Specialists, performs check adjustments as needed, updates and trains department personnel, reviews and updates department procedures, works with vendors/third parties, provides technical support, and assists the IT Consultant as needed. A bachelor’s in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience is required. Supervisory experience is preferred, with 5+ years of IT/Data Processing experience needed.
IT/Data Processing Manager
The IT/Data Processing Manager is responsible for, and oversees the overall operations of the IT department. They lead bank projects in coordination with appropriate departments, maintains data and appropriate backup, updates and trains bank personnel on new hardware and/or software, works with related vendors/third parties, approves PTO, and ensures adequate staffing. They work in conjunction with the IT Consultant to perform updates, upgrades, and implementations of new services. This individual also holds a seat on the IT Committee and attends various meetings. A bachelor’s in Information Technology or related field, along with management experience and 7+ years of IT/Data Processing experience is required.
