Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)
Minimum of a high school diploma, associates, or bachelor’s degree.
Behavioral Health Technicians provide direct implementation of a child’s treatment plan using behavioral and therapeutic care models designed by a Behavior Consultant.
Pay ranges from 20$-25$ per hour with yearly merit increases for FT and PT employees.
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
Must possess a Pennsylvania state Registered Behavior Technician license, which we will provide the supervision hours for and support you through the process of preparing for this exam. RBT’s provide direct implementation of a child’s treatment plan using behavioral and therapeutic care models designed by a Behavior Consultant.
25$ per hour with yearly merit increases for FT and PT employees.
Behavior Consultant (BC)
Must possess a Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related degree. Responsible for oversight and development of a child’s treatment program using therapeutic practices and/or ABA practices. Matrix also has tuition reduction programs to help with an employees schooling!
Pay ranges from $38-$51 per hour with yearly merit increases for FT and PT employees.
Board Certified Behavior Consultant (BCBA)
Master’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related degree, and possess a PA Behavior Specialist Licensure. Responsible for oversite and development of a child’s treatment program using ABA practices. Matrix will also assist you with required supervision for this exam!
$60 per hour with yearly merit increases for FT and PT employees.

- Possess strong communication skills in both a verbal and written format.
- Possess the ability to meet established deadlines and schedules.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the clients and the client’s family.
- Be organized and efficient in the performance of their job.
- Language proficiency: must have the capacity to create, read, and evaluate Individual Treatment Plans.
- Ability to successfully reply to the most complicated questions about clients and/or families.
- Can transfer skills to clients, families, and requested parties in treatment.
- Knowledge of mathematics: the capacity to comprehend and use basic mathematical concepts.
- Critical Thinking: the capacity to identify issues, gather information, establish facts, carry out efficient treatment-plan interventions, and arrive at reliable findings.
- Knowledge of basic principles of psychology and Applied Behavior Analysis.
- Knowledge of mental health disabilities and treatments and social implications.
- Knowledge of behavior analysis, psychological techniques, theories, and practices employed in the modification of human behavior.
- Ensure professional boundaries.
- Be culturally competent throughout service delivery.
